Each underdash wiring harness is manufactured according to the original General Motors specifications. Each part number is fully assembled taped and ready to install upon arrival. The dash harness is almost always the largest harness in a vehicle (for vehicles 1957 and newer) and will include a new fuse box that accepts the original style glass fuses. Underdash wiring harnesses are frequently available in factory gauge or warning light configurations. Cars with factory gauges typically include a temperature gauge an oil pressure gauge and an ammeter. Vehicles with a warning light dash do not have in-dash gauges for these items but bulbs that illuminate if the vehicle overheats or has low oil pressure
