Dating from across the 1970s and 1980s, this collection forms a spectacular chronological archive of one of Australia's most famous foundation football clubs. St George Budapest was famously formed by Hungarian immigrants in Sydney and went on to become the historic first-ever champions of the National Soccer League (NSL) in 1977.
This 22-piece collection includes:
- The highly collectible 1977 National Soccer League inaugural championship year badge.
- Rare early 1970s issues including 1973, 1974, and 1975 tokens.
- A fantastic run of 1980s enamel tags including 1983, 1984, 1987, and 1988 issues.

Excellent vintage condition. The hard enamel faces remain incredibly glossy with bright, vibrant colors and no major chips or structural cracking. The reverse sides feature authentic, crisp stamped member registration numbers (extensively matching member #1661, showing a beautiful provenance from a lifelong supporter). Normal light age-appropriate metal patina as pictured.
