Description:
【Functional】: Designed to accurately detect and locate leaks in most automotive and light truck turbochargers, cooling, and emission systems
【Application】: Comes with 4 pairs of step up adapters ranging from 1-3/8" (35mm) - 3-1/2" (90mm), suitable for most automotive and light truck turbocharging systems as well as various sizes of cooling system hoses to meet your different needs
【Easy to use】: Insert the appropriate adapter into the system's inlet and outlet. Turn the pressure regulator knob to set the desired pressure. Connect the pressure gauge to the inlet adapter, then connect it to workshop air to pressurize the system. After pressurizing, you can check if the pressure gauge maintains pressure and listen for leaks. If there's a drop in pressure, you can easily find leaks by hand or spray.
【Material】: The Turbo System Leak Tester is made of metal materials ensuring long term wear resistance.
【Pressure Gauge】: Comes with a 0-5bar (0-75psi) pressure gauge that allows you to observe system pressures at a glance. The pressure gauge has a built in regulator; pull it up and turn it to adjust your required pressure then push down to lock it in place. It also features a release valve that prevents overpressure; if pressures get too high they can be reduced by pulling on this valve (automatically releases when pressures exceed 36Psi/2.5Bar)

Specification:
Material: Metal
Color: Black

How to Use?
1.Select the correct adapter by first measuring the hose diameter.
2.Set regulator of tester to 5psi to check for large leaks with valve, open (operating handle inline with the hose axis). And with the air coupling disconnected.
3.Select correct size adapters and place in hoses, then tighten the clamp.
4.Connect the air coupling to check for leaks at the pre-set (5psi). If a leak is identified audibly, it indicates that the system has a fault resulting in loss of pressure.
5.If no leaks are evident, regulate pressure to 10psi.
6.If no leaks are evident, regulate pressure to a maximum of 15psi or to the manufacturer’s maximum pressure and retest.
7.If the gauge pointer remains stationary for one minute it will indicate that system works good.
8.Release the pressure in the system by rotating the ball valve lever to align with hose axis.
9.Disconnect the quick coupler, clean and return all items to carry case.
