Victorian Antique Gros Point de Venise Needle Lace Ivory Grape Leaf Dress Trim Lot

This Victorian era antique Gros Point de Venise needle lace ivory grape leaf dress trim lot dates from 1900. It is hand made of an off white ivory cream color Gros Point de Venise Venetian needle lace with a raised, padded, high relief decorative grape leaf floral design joined by cordonnet buttonholing connected brides bars. This lovely lace matching pair of long narrow strips dress trim have a lace ruffle trim edging on one end and are sheer unlined. Each measures 65 inches long and 3 inches wide. They are in good condition, with only some slight cut frayed loose threads along the edgings (see close-ups). Perfect for upcycling. This is truly a wonderful pair of handmade antique lace wearable art!
