For sale is an unusual vintage silverplated marching band instrument lyre / music holder by Chase.  The piece is 6 5/8 inches long, and the clip is 2 inches wide.  It has a straight tubular shaft with a squared tip.  It is made of wood with brass ends.  It has a mottled silverplated surface.  It has the Chase trademark on the end of the shaft holding the spring

Condition on the piece is fair.  The square tip is a bit twisted, and it has a mottled unpolished surface.  An unusual piece of Chase metalwork!
