This large point was found at a Victorian era farmhouse near Gafton, Illinois. I think the extreme end of the tip might be gone. I am not an expert in these, but could not pass them up. Several very old frames of points had sold prior to me stumbling across this sale. I was only able to buy three artifacts, this being one. The estate sale people said that these were a multi-generational collection of items found on the farm over the decades. It had been in the same family since the mid 1800s. Use the photos to assess condition. A really handsome, large point.
