Description:
First edition, complete in two volumes. Bound in the publisher's maroon cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Top edges gilt, fore and lower edges uncut. Externally, sound and firm, generally rubbed and lightly marked with some bumping to corners, crumpling to spine ends. Internally, also sound and firm. A little light foxing and minor blemishes to first/last leaves, otherwise pages generally clean and tidy throughout.
