Vintage Mid-Century Tin Lithographed Novelty Toy Flute Whistle – Made in Japan

Up for sale is a charming piece of vintage toy history: an original mid-century lithographed tin penny whistle flute. The front panel features a bright retro yellow finish with an illustration of a traditional piper playing a flute against a white panel, a musical lyre logo, and the classic "MADE IN JAPAN" export hallmark stamped along the lower front rim.

CONDITION DETAILS (Please Read Before Buying & See Photos):

●  This vintage toy shows visible wear consistent with its age and delicate metal material.

●  The reverse side features the original unpainted, bare silver tin metal finish, which now exhibits extensive dark oxidation, surface rust spotting, and pitting across the entire back panel (as pictured).

●  The front side retains nice color but shows localized surface rust and patina surrounding the mouthpiece window, inside the finger holes, and along the rolled side edges.

●  The hollow tin body remains straight with no heavy crushing. It still functions mechanically as a simple whistle noisemaker, but is being sold strictly AS-IS / for restoration, parts, or front-facing cabinet display.
