The set includes Volume I and Volume II, featuring John Dryden's extensive literary contributions. Each volume is bound in full leather, showcasing the craftsmanship of the period, though with significant wear and tear consistent with their age. The spines feature dark leather labels with gilt lettering for 'DRYDEN'S WORKS' and the respective volume numbers. Inside, Volume I includes a frontispiece portrait of John Dryden and a detailed table of contents. The books exhibit typical signs of age, including foxing, tanning, and wear to the leather covers and spines, adding to their antiquarian charm.
