Handmade silver cross pendant featuring a small genuine coral cabochon set in a scalloped bezel at the center.

The cross has an attractive dimensional construction with applied twisted-rope wire detailing running along each arm. The warm red-orange coral provides a nice contrast against the silver and gives the piece a classic Southwestern-style appearance.

The exposed metal at the bail tests as silver. Much of the remainder of the pendant appears to have an older clear lacquer or protective coating, so the body of the cross was not filed or otherwise destructively tested. Metal purity is therefore not guaranteed as sterling.

The protective finish shows some age and surface wear, particularly on the reverse, consistent with a previously worn handmade piece. I have left the existing finish intact rather than attempting to remove it.
