Vintage 1940's REMINGTON Noiseless Model 7 Seven Black Art-Deco Typewriter & Case
Beautiful and collectible vintage art-deco style steel-body portable manual typewriter
in overall clean and excellent vintage condition. Serial number is #H-84535 (shown in photos)
which according to the "typewriter database" website indicates it was made in 1946. Overall
black with glossy black plastic/bakelite keys and chrome hardware. Cosmetically it is in
excellent vintage/pre-owned condition showing typical signs of light use and wear one
might expect. As for function, the typewriter does work fine but does seem to "smudge"
or over-print the letters/numbers sometimes so it may need to be tweaked if it to
actually be used for it's intended function. Example of the type and the over-print
effect is shown in the last 2 photos. But as a decorative piece, it looks fantastic.
It comes in it's original case as shown, case is in excellent structural condition but it
does show typical cosmetic signs of age, use & wear. There is a locking mechanism
on the case but there is no key included.
As stated the typewriter is currently working as shown but may need new ink
and/or some tuning up if it is to be used on a regular basis due to the smudging
issue. If it is for decorative display purposes then it is ready to go!
Arrives in U.S. in 5 days. International in 10 days.
