1970 SLOW DEATH No. 2 VG Underground Comix Last Gasp Richard Corben Adults Only

Offering two copies of Slow Death No. 2, published by Last Gasp in 1970, an important early underground comix issue from the counterculture era.

Part of the influential Slow Death anthology series, these vintage comics are especially notable for their environmentally charged, socially satirical material. The title became a distinctive voice in underground publishing by addressing pollution, war, corporate power, and other concerns of the period through provocative, adult-oriented comics storytelling.

Both issues are in very good condition, with minimal wear on the covers or inside pages. There are no missing pages nor inscriptions from past readers. There are some creases and light wear around the corners and along the spine. The smaller copy (right) shows distinct wear on the front cover in the bottom-left corner (image 12). The taller copy (left) has a surface crease on the top left of the cover and a small corner crease to the bottom right. These vintage books have been used gently over the years, so please refer to the posted images for condition.
