Job lot containing 2x Acer Chromebooks, consisting of an Acer Chromebook C710 and an Acer Chromebook C720.
Both are being sold together as a parts / repair / refurbishment job lot.
Acer Chromebook C710
The C710 is the working unit of the two.
It powers on and appears to be working, although testing has been limited.
The battery is faulty, so the device should not be relied upon for battery-powered use and may need to remain connected to a charger.
The unit has:
• 320GB hard drive • 2GB RAM • 11.6” display • Intel Celeron processor • Chrome OS • Built-in keyboard and touchpad
The C710 has been tested to a limited extent, but I have not tested every individual component or function. Therefore, no guarantee is given regarding the condition of all hardware.
Acer Chromebook C720
The second Chromebook is an Acer C720.
This unit has a broken/cracked screen, as clearly shown in the photographs.
The C720 is believed to be the standard 16GB SSD / 2GB RAM configuration. The unit’s full working condition has not been confirmed, so it is being sold as for parts/repair.
The C720 includes its internal components and is being sold as part of the job lot rather than as a fully working laptop.
Overall Condition
Both Chromebooks are older used devices and show signs of previous use.
The C710 powers on and works to a limited extent but has a faulty battery.
The C720 has a significantly damaged/broken display and has not been fully tested.
They may be suitable for:
• Repair or refurbishment • Replacement screens • Spare parts • Component harvesting • Storage or RAM replacement/upgrades where applicable • Chromebook repair projects • Parts for other compatible Acer models
The charger is included with the job lot. Please check the photographs and charger specifications before purchase rather than assuming it is compatible with every component.
