I recently purchased the parts collection of a life long Corvette enthusiast, collector, and restorer. It was mainly into C1 Corvettes and amassed a large collection of survivor, NOS, and replacement parts for future restorations. This is a New Old Stock GM pair of outer door handles for 1956-1962 Corvettes. The GM part numbers for these handles are 4156542 and 4156543. Both handles are in the original boxes and have never been used or installed. The 4156543 handle box is missing the flap that had the part number printed on it. As you know, the repros are not the same in quality or fitment. Still with original GM parts and know you have it just the way Chevrolet intended.
