Offered for sale is Buried Fossil 47/144 from the legendary 2003 Pokémon Skyridge expansion.
More than 23 years old, this fascinating card comes from the highly collectible e-Reader era of the Pokémon TCG and represents a genuine piece of early Pokémon collecting history.
Buried Fossil is one of the more unusual cards from the Skyridge expansion.
Rather than being presented as a traditional Trainer card, Buried Fossil has 30 HP and functions as a Basic Pokémon, capable of evolving into Omanyte, Kabuto or Aerodactyl — all three of which are depicted on the card.
Released in 2003, Skyridge represents the final Pokémon TCG expansion released by Wizards of the Coast and has become one of the most recognisable and desirable sets of the vintage e-Reader era.
Even the regular non-holo cards from Skyridge have developed a strong collector following more than two decades after their original release.
CONDITION
This 23-year-old vintage card presents very nicely for its age.
There are minor signs of previous handling and age, including some light edge/corner wear visible on close inspection.
