Vintage Art Deco Burgundy Burnout Voided Velvet Devore Drop Waist Belted Dress

This vintage Art Deco burgundy burnout voided velvet devore drop waist belted dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a dark red burgundy color sheer silk chiffon devore fabric with an abstract floral fireworks bursts decorative design burnout voided velvet with shades of blue and gold. This beautiful burgundy burnout devore dress has a sleeveless drop waist over the head style with no side opening closures, an attached wide belted waist, side sash scarf drape decorative trim and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 42 inches long, with a 40 inch chest, 34 inch waist, 36 inch hips and 16 inch back. It is in good condition, with only a small faint stain and slight fraying on the side sash (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of Art Deco wearable art!
