This Solid Crystal Opal is from Coober Pedy, South Australia. It is 100% Natural and not a doublet or a triplet.

  • OPAL WEIGHT:  3.3 carat
  • OPAL SIZE:  12.2 x 11.1 x 3.6 mm
  • COLORS:    Lime Green  , some yellow small amount of red
  • PATTERN:   3 Dimensional pinfire with sheen roll underneath  
  • QUALITY:  Flawless 
  • BRIGHTNESS:  3.5
  • BODY TONE:  N-8   crystal opal 


BRIGHTNESS IS RATED ON A ONE TO FIVE SCALE AS:

5.  Opal is Brilliant and Color Jumps out of the stone at you at arms length

4.  Opal is Bright and Color is Crisp and Sharp at arms length

3.  Opal has Good Color at arms length  

2.  Opal has Fair color but Nothing Special 

1.  Opal has Color but is Fairly Dull
