This vintage purple polka dot velvet ribbonwork embroidery lace lingerie hanky holder dates from the 1980s. It is handcrafted made antique fabrics, trimmings dating from the 1920s, with a purple, white polka dot silk velvet fabric bag covered on the front with an off white ivory cream color sheer net embroidery lace ruffle overlay, pastel silk ombre ribbonwork rosettes, ribbons and a black net sequin beaded trim piece on top. This beautiful boudoir lingerie bag handkerchief hanky holder has a rectangle shape, envelope fold over pocket style with no closure and is fully lined in a floral roses print cotton chintz fabric inside. The bag measures 10 by 7 inches and is in good condition, with only some slight faint fade discoloration on the purple velvet fabric (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of handcrafted boudoir lingerie handkerchief holder wearable purse art!
