Cube peloton road bike. Originally a compact (double chain ring and front derailleur)
equipped with Shimano Sora group set, I had my mechanic modify the bike to better equip itfor commuting and reduced maintenance. It now features a Shimano single 40 tooth chain ring (with chain guard) at the front, and a 9 speed 11-32T cassette at the rear.

A 40-tooth front chainring paired with an 11-32T cassette is the absolute "sweet spot" for a modern, highly versatile 1x (single chainring) setup. Ideal for commuting and leisure road cycling on moderate to hilly terrain.

front chain ring replaced with a 40T single speed chain ring therefore the left-hand shifter operates the rear brake only, albeit the Shimano Sora two speed shifter remains on the handlebars.

I have upgraded to a fully carbon road bike for Leisure no longer need a commuter. Therefore the peloton is no longer needed and nice to see this go to a good home.
