This is an all solid wood Classic brand mandola based on a Gibson H5. Very friendly 16" scale. I had 4 of these made in China in 2012 and they were made very well. Ebony bridge, bone nut, Schaller tuners. Full resonant sound. Bound F-holes.
There is a lacquer crack on top. From bridge backwards on treble side but it is not even a hairline crack. It is a lacquer crack. Never noticed in 14 years until today when the sun was on it. A photo would not show it and even in the flesh you'd never notice it unless pointed out.
Overall the mandola is in 9.5---10 condition.
Supplied in Crossrock case (new) . The mandola looks as new. Tuned C G D A like a viola. No fret wear.
Altogether a really good mandola ready to play.
