HISTORY of SELLERS.
All of my stamps originate very much directly from Germany, DDR, and Provinces.
I now own these stamps from my late father.
I inherited many, many thousands of original stamps from my father’s great friend, Herr Henry Cranic.
Henry was a German/Ukrainian Soldier who travelled widely during WW2. He relocated to England in the 1950s.
Henry did not travel widely, and had no family, and so he did not travel back to Germany much and certainly didn't invest in Stamp Authenticity and Guarantees. He was first hand collector and frequented markets and specialist shops.
Henry was not a Collector but he was an avid Dealer in Stamps of all nationalities throughout the world.
Sadly passed away in late 1970s but had given most of his collection to my father Kenneth Clinch, Factory Superintendent, Comptroller, and Deputy Works Manager. Henry too was a print machine operator, and worked in England in Flexography printing millions of cardboard boxes for Reed International, based in Thatcham, Newbury. One of the most productive innovative factories for many years. He was not involved in precision, high quality print work.
Without doubt Henry’s first love was that of his massive stamp collections. I think it is time nowt to share them with some new purchasers who enjoy the chronology and history of the finest stamp printer’s in the world, namely Germany.
My father got nearly 40 year’s of education and pleasure, often relating to his Stanley Gibbons and with his many Michel Stamp books, Colour guides, perforation guides and an immense amount of research. Stamps however are very fluid and changeable.

My name is Keith Clinch, born in London, now living in Hampshire. I too followed my father into printing but in another area that of large format digital printing. I was Colour Production Manager/Typesetter/Designer for the Light Brigade Printing company in Chertsey for approx. 25 years. I worked on many famous projects including: The DaVinci Code films, Notting Hill, Bridget Jones Diary, Joe Claus, ‘Spaceballs’, worked extensively with the BBC TV and Shepperton Films Studios on many other specialist products. An immense amount of English TV programmes, worked on Live Aid 1 and Live Aid 2 Concerts, specialist subject was the Royal Chelsea Flower Shows’ for 17 years and Hampton Court Flower Shows too. I did most Live Music Events as well as specialist work for Procter and Gamble, all cosmetic brands, food brands, anything that was popular in the 1980s, I was that man. Great deal of work with German brands namely Braun, with Howard Potter, BMW, Siemens, Volkswagen, far too many to mention.
