In our new cabin for business travelers, there are no longer any middle seats.

Clipper Class, a completely new feeling of spaciousness.  Even if all the seats are occupied, on the one hand you have only one seat to the aisle, on the other hand you have plenty of space to really spread out.  If you want to read the newspaper, or enjoy a drink in comfort.  And you always have the service of our on-board staff within easy reach.

People no longer have to sit between two seats.  But our new Clipper Class has other advantages, too:  First, there are the seats.  Well-known orthopedists have studied them intensively.  The result: The seats are now wider and more comfortable than many of the seats you may be used to.  They were selected for the First Class of the latest generation of jetliners, which will not enter service until about 1985.

You might think our new Clipper Class is just a glorified Economy Class.  Pan Am's Clipper Class is in a league of its own.  A private, dedicated cabin designed specifically for business travelers.  Naturally, it has all the comforts and extras you would expect from a major airline.  Not to mention a host of little extras and touches that are not normally included. 

For now, the new Clipper Class is available only on some of Pan Am's 747 flights.  However, it is already available on almost all nonstop flights between Frankfurt and New York.  From mid-1981, you will be able to enjoy the new Pan Am Clipper Class service on all routes served by our 747 fleet.

This ad was issued in various European markets to encourage business travelers to fly in PAN AM's new Clipper Class from Germany to PAN AM's New York JFK Worldport and beyond.

This is a 2-page ad.  Each individual page measures 11.0 INCHES by 8.25 INCHES.  Pages are separated, but the ad/images are 100% complete.  The two pages can very easily be mounted together for framing.  When the 2 pages are placed together, the full size is approximately 10.0 INCHES by 16.5 INCHES.
