1993 FPG Bernie Wrightson Master of the Macabre signed Frankenstein hologram promo trading card, hand-autographed in bold black marker and originating from a substantial Bernie Wrightson FPG collection with documented auction provenance.

This striking vintage Bernie Wrightson Frankenstein Hologram Promo Card was produced by FPG Cards in 1993 to promote Wrightson's celebrated Master of the Macabre trading-card series.

The holographic front features Frankenstein's Monster in a dark forest setting, rendered in Wrightson's unmistakable horror style. As the card is moved under light, the reflective holographic image changes dramatically.

Most importantly, the front has been hand-signed by Bernie Wrightson in black marker. Because every autograph was applied individually, no two signed examples are exactly alike.

Important Provenance

This card was acquired as part of a larger Bernie Wrightson: Master of the Macabre Trading Cards auction lot.

That collection included six unopened limited-edition FPG foil boxes, each personally signed by Bernie Wrightson on the original shrinkwrap and individually numbered:

The auction lot also included a complete Master of the Macabre card collection, hologram cards, autographed chase cards, and a Boris Vallejo prism chase-card set.

This signed hologram promo was among the additional Wrightson cards acquired with that collection.

No separate PSA/DNA, JSA, Beckett or other third-party autograph authentication accompanies this individual card. The auction-lot history is being provided as provenance, not as third-party authentication.

The reverse is marked Bernie Wrightson “Master of the Macabre” and promotes FPG's ambitious 1993 card release, including its Frankenstein artwork, holograms and randomly inserted autographed cards.

Bernie Wrightson is one of the most important names in American horror illustration, best known as the co-creator of Swamp Thing and for his legendary illustrations of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.

Condition

This is an ungraded vintage hologram card.

The holographic surface shows expected vintage handling characteristics, including some fine surface scratching/scuffing visible when the card is viewed under direct light. Minor edge and corner wear may also be present.

The bold black-marker autograph remains strong and visually prominent across the holographic artwork.

The reverse retains excellent color and strong graphics.
