Petite Vintage H/M 1989 9ct Yellow Gold Locket Pendant & Chain

This is a beautiful petite photo locket necklace with 375 1989 Sheffield
hallmarks for its 9ct yellow gold fineness. The makers initials are “E.J. Ld”
for Excalibur Jewellery Limited, Hatton Garden London.
The locket is a small vertical oval shape suspended from a hinged bale.
Its front top left hand diagonal has an engine engraved zig-zag pattern
surrounding a leaf motif the remaining areas to both covers have a smooth polished
finish. It is hinged at the bale to open like a book to reveal cloth lined
interior covers designed to hold s small picture in each. It is suspended from its bale on a very fine
gold oval link chain marked “9K” to the small bolt ring clasp.

The locket is in excellent vintage condition, no issues, faults, or
damage to report, some light wear and a lovely warm patina. The photos show the

thick; 1.6g overall.
