Quality 18ct Yellow Gold C.1900s Antique Photo Locket Pendant 3.6g
This
is a top quality phot locket pendant designed to hang on a fine link bold neck
chain. It is unmarked; tests confirm it is a minimum of 750 for its 18ct yellow
gold fineness. We estimate that it dates to the early 1900s through to 1920 or
thereabouts.
It
is a small round pendant with a margin if tight openwork of repeating flower
and leaf motifs. This surrounds a raised bezel with crimped edge that holds a
very faded photo under a piece of clear domed crystal glass. The rear has a
closed back with a fixed bale and jump ring. The photo is removed by gently opening
the crimping on the bezel.

The
photo locket pendant is in excellent antique condition with no issues, damage
or faults to report, some light wear, and a lovely patina with glossy signs of
the oxide pigment. The images show the condition far better than we can detail,
