2: 1890s-1900s Swiss Coullery Frères 800 Silver Cased Open Face Pocket

This is a small 800 silver open faced pocket watch. The case is marked 800
with the Swiss Grouse assay mark and “Patton” or “Pattoni” which maybe a
reference to a patent or registered item. We date it to about the 1900s through
1920s. The rear hinged cover has a
rococo repeating circle of fleur dis lis and roses decoration with a central
shield cartouche. In, open face manner the front glass is fitted with a hinge.
It has a plain polished metal inner dust cover two pinion holes.
It is not running, appears overwound with balance spring intact, dry and
in need of a service; all other faults unknown. It is offered as a restorer’s
project with no returns.

Dial enamelled white with garland of flowers around the pinion
Black Arabic numeral hour markers.
Chapter with baton minute markers.

It’s a smart dress wear pocket watch. Crisp clean face, light scratches
to the replacement glass, case has light wear and a warm antique patina. The
