Lovely vintage wide-angle conversion lens in an attractive titanium-coloured metal finish.

This is a 0.42x Super Wide conversion lens, designed to screw onto the front filter thread of a compatible camera or camcorder lens to produce a substantially wider field of view.

The rear fitting has no size marking that I can find. I have measured the threaded fitting manually at approximately 36mm. This may correspond to a nominal 37mm fitting, but as I cannot confirm that from a manufacturer's marking, please check the photographs/measurement and compatibility with your equipment before purchasing.

The lens is in good overall cosmetic condition for its age.

Please note: there is a small mark/blemish on the glass. I have deliberately photographed this clearly rather than attempting to disguise it, so please study the photographs carefully, it's best seen when the light catches the lens and gives it a yellow hue.
I have also photographed the view through the lens, demonstrating the optical/wide-angle effect.

The body and threads appear in good used condition with normal signs of age and use.

A lovely piece of vintage Japanese camera/camcorder equipment, suitable for practical use, collection or experimenting with vintage wide-angle effects.
