Installation:
1. Connect the "H" of the thermostatic mixing valve to the hot water inlet pipe, and "C" to the cold water inlet pipe;
2. During installation, try to keep the inlet pressures of hot and cold water equal. Within the allowable pressure difference range, the thermostatic valve can still operate normally. However, if it is used for a long time under a large pressure difference, the lifespan of the valve core may be reduced. Therefore, it is recommended that when there is a large difference in inlet pressure, a pressure reducing valve should be installed on the side with higher pressure (if the pressure difference is greater than 0.1 MPa).
3. If the cold and hot water pressures are inconsistent, a one-way check valve should be installed on the side with lower inlet pressure, or check valves should be installed on both sides to prevent backflow between hot and cold water.
Note: When the valve pressure difference is greater than 0.02 MPa, DN32-DN100 valves need to be equipped with a check valve, while DN15-DN25 valves come with built-in check valves and do not need additional installation.
Working principle:
At the mixing outlet of the thermostatic mixing valve, a heat-sensitive element is installed, which uses the characteristics of the temperature-sensing element to push the valve core in the valve body to move, blocking or opening the water inlet of cold and hot water.
When the cold water is blocked and the hot water is turned on, when the temperature adjustment knob sets a certain temperature, no matter how the cold and hot water inlet temperature and pressure change, the ratio of cold and hot water entering the water outlet also changes, so that the The outlet water temperature is always kept constant, the temperature adjustment knob can be set arbitrarily within the specified temperature range of the product, and the thermostatic mixing valve will automatically maintain the outlet water temperature.
