Common knowledge ofblade replacement
The meat grinder works in conjunction with a crossblade and a hole plate (i.e. a roundblade). Theblade surface and hole plate surface are required to be flat and not worn. If the crossblade is severely worn, replacing the hole plate will not be useful and may damage the hole plate. So before buying an orifice plate, check if the crossblade is worn or uneven. If the wear is severe, it is best to replace the crossblade and orifice plate together.
