LP Gas Refrigerators make perfect sense if the power grid failures. The Smad Freezer refrigerators use no electricity and can be operated from small portable propane cylinders or high capacity permanent tanks. This unit can be started at the time of a power outage and be ready for food transfer before food spoilage occurs.
Family long term dwellings will benefit from the small size yet ample capacity. The fridge door includes four shelves to hold bottles and cans. The fridge interior includes four shelves (One glass plus three adjustable wire shelves). The interior will easily hold four 1 gallon containers with room for plenty of other grocery goods. A full width vegetable and fruit crisper drawer is included. The glass shelves allow for easy cleaning and give smaller jars and bottles a stable base to keep them from tipping and spilling.

GAS OPERATION

After initial installation, servicing, or changing gas cylinders etc., the gas pipes may contain some air which should be allowed to escape by depressing the button (C). This will ensure that the flame lights immediately.

1. Make sure to run it on PROPANE and use 28-30mbar regulator rather than 37mbar.

2. Make sure that all valves between the gas container and the refrigerator are open.

3. Set the rotary switch (F) to gas.

4. Depress the safety device control (C) for 10-15S and hold it down while depressing the igniter switch (A) .

5. Check the flame indicator (B) to see whether the flame is alight.

6. Keep the safety device control (C) depressed for a further 5-10 seconds.

7. Release the safety device control (C) and again check to see that the flame is alight.

8. You could adjust the temperature by adjusting the thermostat knob (D).

If the burner has not lit after 4-5 attempts, turn off the gas tap, wait 5 minutes and then try to re-light. If the burner still fails to light, please contact the authorised service provider in your area. Note: If the battery ignition fails to spark, you might need to replace the battery.

AC OPERATION

1. Set the rotary switch (F) to AC.

2. You should adjust the thermostat (D) to control the temperature if you run it on AC.

Important note!!!!

To ensure optimal performance, place the fridge upside down (on its top) for 4 hours, then turn the fridge upright and let it stand for another 4 hours. During shipment, the ammonia within may shift. This step ensures that the ammonia is in the proper position.
