The knob is separate from the plate, so if you decided not to use the plate, you could just use the knob.

Installation:
1.Locate and mark where to place the knobs on the drawer;
2.Drill hole through the front of the drawer/cabinet at the knob's marked location;
3.Push and screw the bolts through the holes from the backside of the drawer/cabinet.
