Beautiful antique American Brilliant Period cut-glass oval dish, dating approximately to the turn of the 20th century.
This highly detailed approximately 7-inch oval dish features elaborate hand-cut geometric decoration including multiple hobstar/rosette motifs, deep fan cuts, diamond and crosshatched areas, and a prominent central geometric star design.
The perimeter is finished with an intricate sawtooth edge, creating exceptional sparkle around the entire dish.
The decoration has deep, sharp V-shaped grooves characteristic of cut glass, and the piece produces a clear sustained ring when gently tapped.

Condition: Very good antique condition overall. No chips or cracks have been found. There is an approximately 1-inch surface scratch inside the dish, along with any minor wear consistent with age and previous use. Please see photographs for exact condition.
No manufacturer's signature has been located. Although the workmanship and cutting are consistent with American Brilliant Period glass, the maker is being left unidentified rather than making an unsupported attribution.
