Beautiful vintage heavy clear pressed-glass serving bowl featuring an elaborate geometric pattern designed in the style of early cut glass.

The bowl has alternating diamond lattice panels and ornate circular medallions, along with small button/dot details, curved fan-like elements and a dramatic radiating starburst design on the underside.

The upper edge has a decorative scalloped/notched treatment that gives the bowl excellent sparkle and visual interest.

This is an exceptionally substantial piece for its size, weighing approximately 28.92 ounces (1.81 lb / 820 g).

The pattern resembles early American “near-cut” or imitation cut-glass patterns, including designs associated with the McKee PRES-CUT/Tec family. However, no PRES-CUT or manufacturer's mark has been located, so the maker and exact pattern are being left unidentified rather than making an unsupported attribution.

The molded decoration is smoother and shallower than traditional wheel-cut American Brilliant Period glass.
