Natural and untreated sunstone gemstone originating from Oregon USA. This weighs 3.90 CTS and has been cut and faceted into an round shape. The measurements are approximately 9.9 mm across and 7.2 mm deep.

This is a beautiful example of a naturally earth mined Oregon sunstone, possibly the most prized of all sunstone varieties. These stones are known for thier strong aventurescent effects caused by internal copper inclusions. Theese visual properties can be seen throughout the entire surface, giving a warm metallic shimmer. The coloring of the gem is a vivid reddish orange. Unlike more simple cabochons, this excellent transparency and only slight natural inclusions. This can be considered eye clean or VVS clarity.
