Vintage leather bound hardcover ledger book with attached note explaining that this is a New York Leather Merchant account book ledger from the 1860's. There is a mention on the last page of Central City Colorado Territory and what that has to do with the ledger is unknown unless the original reference to New York is incorrect and it is actually from the west. It is hard to read without actually understanding the leather trade but one of the phrases used over and over is the mention of Skivers. Book is in very good original condition and is complete and measures 8 1/2" by 5 1/2 by 1". Please email with any questions.
