Beautiful large antique American Brilliant Period cut-glass bowl, dating approximately to the turn of the 20th century.

This substantial approximately 10-inch bowl features exceptionally elaborate geometric cutting with large pinwheel/fan motifs, hobstar-style designs, diamond and crosshatched cutting, starbursts and a dramatic multi-lobed sawtooth rim.

Unlike molded pressed-glass decoration, the design has deep, sharp-edged cuts that can be clearly felt when examined by hand. The glass also produces a clear sustained ring when gently tapped.
