This is an original antique James Dixon & Sons pewter 7-ounce pocket flask (c. late 19th to early 20th century), manufactured in Sheffield, England.

The flask features a gently curved, body-hugging kidney silhouette designed for comfortable carrying in a coat or vest pocket, capped with a knurled screw-top lid. The lower rim is crisply stamped with the authentic manufacturer hallmarks, including the signature James Dixon & Sons trumpet logo, alongside "MADE IN ENGLAND / SHEFFIELD / 7 OZS" and the design code "43".

Condition is good antique with heavy, honest character wear. It displays a deeply aged pewter patina with surface scuffing, minor dings from decades of handling, and a split along a portion of the side edge as pictured. Measures 6 inches tall.
