Megabass has re-engineered the X-80 minnow retaining its platform and modifying its internal construction to create a minnow specifically for saltwater fishing. Avoiding the repurposing of a bass lure body the company has refined its unique characteristics as a minnow specifically for sea bass fishing introducing the outstanding rolling and escaping action of the X-80's unique humpback body to the underwater world. The X-80 Saltwater Version was repeatedly tested in the Tokyo metropolitan bay area and Osaka Bay. Its low-center-of-gravity high-density weight in the front and tungsten weight in the rear when the center of gravity shifts enable astonishingly long-distance casting even against headwinds a feat unimaginable from its super-slim 80mm body. Furthermore its weight setting unlike a simple sinking plug allows for a "slow-sinking" action that neither floats nor sinks too much allowing for long-distance casting directly hitting the effective range of sea bass during feeding time. Once you try using this weight setting you will be able to experience the benefits of this weight setting as guaranteed fishing results.
