It achieves a bulldog contact action that bites onto the bottom and all types of structures encountered in shallow water. Unlike the escape action of the Griffon series its dense and hard bulldog contact exhibits incredible stability allowing it to continuously hit the shallow bottom without leaving the gaps in riprap or tetra holes during the harsh winter early spring or turnover periods when fish are reluctant to bite and without leaving dredge breaks. Even then it swims with a high-pitch drive without any interruption of action continuously stimulating tough fish until they finally bite. This new generation shallow runner allows for a wide range of skills to be employed such as high-speed coursing to strike cruising fish roaming sandbars in backwaters.
