A Zeiss Ikon Contax IIa camera with a Zeiss Sonnar 5cm f:2 lens. The camera shutter operates at 1/25 and above well. It also works at b speed properly. At the slow speeds the shutter does not close. It only opens. The shutter curtains look clean and in good condition. I’ve pictured them open and closed front and rear. The camera is cosmetically nice with some bumps on underneath the black leatherette. There are some bright marks, minor scratches and some other marks. The rangefinder works although it is a bit stiff. The meter appears dead. The lens looks like it has been cleaned at some point in the past as there are internal cleaning marks and scratches. The aperture ring works but there is some oil on the blades. The lens is loose when you pull it out and try to lock it in place. There is no case or lens cap.

All in all it’s a nice looking example.
