Maker marked:  MEYER & WENTHE - CHICAGO     Long defunct manufacturer of police, fire, military, government and other law enforcement badges (1900-1937) and located at 30 South Jefferson Street in Chicago.


PLUNKETT CHEMICAL COMPANY'S general offices were located at 2920 South Park Avenue, Chicago.  They also had a presence in New York - Buffalo - Boston - Philadelphia - St. Louis.  They perfected and manufactured the insecticide (bellow style) poison sprayers .  Also developed the "Gilmore MOP WITH FINGERS" - Easily replaced for washing - Slips on like a glove
