Incremental encoders generate electrical pulses as the shaft rotates. Hohner documentation describes A and B outputs as two pulse trains offset by 90°, allowing connected equipment to determine rotational movement and direction.

Condition: Used and untested. The encoder has cosmetic wear consistent with previous industrial service. Cable is included exactly as pictured, with individual conductors exposed at the end. No attempt has been made to verify output signals or operating condition.
