Operation
After refurbishing, the main unit has been confirmed to work with two AA batteries (the remote uses one AAA battery).
There are no signs of battery leakage, and the battery terminals are shiny and clean. The crucial pinch roller is not dented or worn and performs well.
The playback sound is clear, without excessive noise, and produces very good sound.
Playback, stop, fast forward, rewind, and reverse functions have been tested for a long period.
The playback speeds of FWD and REV are stable and normal, and the speed difference has been measured and confirmed to be within acceptable limits.
There is no noticeable sound fluctuation, and the wow and flutter measurement results are good (<0.15% / 3 kHz 0 dB TEST TAPE).
FM/AM radio reception is good.
All control buttons and selector buttons on the unit have been tested.
There is no crackling sound when adjusting the volume.
The original remote control and headphone output work perfectly.
It also has a 3.5mm standard headphone jack, so you can enjoy it with commercially available headphones.
Please refrain from using tapes longer than 90 minutes, severely deteriorated tapes, or low-quality tapes from overseas, as this may cause sound fluctuations, playback failure, or malfunction.

Exterior and accessories have been cleaned and disinfected with alcohol wipes.
High-quality, highly durable drive belts have been replaced (no low-quality generic parts are used).
Capacitors have been replaced.
The V-belt grooves of the flywheel have been cleaned and precision polished.
Pinch rollers have been cleaned.
Capstan has been cleaned.
Silicone grease has been applied to each gear rotation part.
The heads have been precisely polished and cleaned to a mirror finish.
Oxide film has been removed from each metal contact point to improve conductivity.
The heads have been demagnetized with a TEAC E-3 head demagnetizer.
Wow and flutter have been measured, and speed adjusted using an ABEX 3KHz -10dB Flutter & Speed ββTEST TAPE.
Winding torque during playback has been measured. etc.
