High-Rise (2015) Blu-ray (15) with Limited
Edition Art Cards and original cardboard sleave
Ben Wheatley’s High-Rise is a darkly satirical
adaption of J.G. Ballard’s 1975 novel. Set in a vast, self-contained tower
block on the outskirts of 1970’s London, the film follows Dr. Robert Laing (Tom
Hiddleston) as the building’s carefully ordered social hierarchy begins to
collapse.
As the residents become increasingly divided by
class and status, the tower descends into escalating disorder and violence.
Featuring a star-studded cast including Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, Luke Evans
and Elisabeth Moss, High-Rise combines dystopian science fiction, dark humour
and social satire in a distinctly unsettling vision of modern society.

Condition:
The Blu-ray and case are in excellent condition. The

the case (so likely typical across any copy) and other small marks. The
cardboard has some slight shelf ware, but remains in very good overall
condition. Please see photographs for exact condition and contents.
An interesting addition to any collection of Ben
Wheatley films, J.G Ballard adaptions, dystopian science fiction or dark social
satire.
