This plate fits factory Optics Ready CZ slides only. It does not fit standard CZ Shadow 2 or P-10 slides that use a traditional rear sight dovetail instead of the factory optic cut.

Product Overview

Expand the optic options available for your CZ Shadow 2, Shadow 2 Compact, or P-10 Optics Ready pistol with this EGW multi-footprint red dot mounting plate. The plate interfaces directly with the factory CZ Optics Ready slide cut and provides compatibility with several of the most popular compact and full-size red dot footprints.

This plate supports optics using the Holosun K / Shield RMSc footprint as well as optics using the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprint. This includes popular options such as the Holosun 407K, 507K, EPS, EPS Carry, Vortex Defender Series, Shield RMSc, and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro.

The plate is precision CNC machined from 7075 aluminum and finished with a matte black Type III hardcoat anodizing for excellent durability while keeping unnecessary weight to a minimum.

Whether you are setting up a Shadow 2 for competition, adding an enclosed emitter optic to a Shadow 2 Compact, or upgrading a P-10 for range, carry, or duty use, this plate gives you significantly more flexibility when selecting a red dot.

Due to manufacturing tolerances between firearms and optics, minor fitment may be required.

This Mount Does Not Fit

If your pistol uses a traditional rear sight dovetail instead of the factory CZ Optics Ready cut, you will need the appropriate EGW dovetail red dot mount instead of this adapter plate.

Compatible Red Dots

This plate accepts optics utilizing the Holosun K / Shield RMSc footprint as well as optics utilizing the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprint. Compatible optics include:

*Vortex Defender XL: Use the optic mounting screws supplied by Vortex with the Defender XL.

VORTEX VENOM COMPATIBILITY

This plate fits the Vortex Venom Enclosed Red Dot. It does not fit the original Vortex Venom open-emitter red dot. The original Vortex Venom uses the Docter footprint and requires a different EGW mounting plate.

Holosun EPS & EPS Carry Compatibility

This mount is compatible with both the full-size Holosun EPS and the compact Holosun EPS Carry. This gives shooters who prefer an enclosed emitter red dot the ability to use the EPS family directly with this mounting plate.

DeltaPoint Pro Footprint Compatibility

In addition to Holosun K and Shield RMSc-pattern optics, this plate also accepts optics utilizing the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro mounting footprint. This multi-footprint design gives you substantially more flexibility when choosing an optic for your CZ.

Installation & Fitment

This plate is designed to install into the factory CZ Optics Ready slide cut after removing the factory cover plate or existing optic plate.

  1. Verify that the firearm is completely unloaded.
  2. Remove the factory optic cover plate or existing optic mounting plate.
  3. Clean the slide mounting surface and threaded holes to remove oil, debris, and old thread-locking compound.
  4. Place the EGW adapter plate into the factory Optics Ready cut and verify that it sits completely flat.
  5. Install the appropriate plate mounting screws.
  6. Place the red dot onto the EGW plate and confirm that the optic sits completely flat.
  7. Use the correct optic mounting screws for your specific red dot.
  8. Apply blue thread-locking compound when recommended.
  9. Tighten all screws according to the appropriate EGW or optic manufacturer's torque specifications.
  10. Verify that the plate and optic are secure before firing the pistol.

Important: Always verify screw length and thread engagement before applying final torque. Screw requirements can vary between optic manufacturers and individual optic models.
