It can handle a wide range of techniques from twitching and jerking to drift fishing mainly with 5-10cm class minnows and covers all situations in the main-stream including pools rapids and open areas all with a single rod. This specially tuned torqueful custom blank designed for bending and landing reliably handles the sharp heavy head shakes characteristic of Amago and Satsuki trout. It suppresses the careless snapping caused by the lightning-fast bites unique to this region and significantly reduces the chance of losing the fish during landing. This is a special function model specially made to order for experts tackling the Nagara River system and other waterways.
