Original vintage color photograph from NASA’s historic Apollo 11 mission, showing astronaut Buzz Aldrin standing on the lunar surface in front of the Lunar Module Eagle during the first Moon landing in July 1969.
The photograph provides a striking frontal view of the Lunar Module, with Aldrin standing beneath the descent stage. The gold and reddish foil-covered landing gear, ladder, equipment bays and distinctive structure of Eagle are clearly visible against the blackness of space and the lunar landscape.
This is a vintage photographic print on Kodak photographic paper, with the repeating “A Kodak Paper” watermark visible on the reverse.
