Vintage Sony Walkman WM-30 portable cassette player in red.

The WM-30 is the successor to the compact WM-20 series and features a distinctive slim cassette-case-sized design.

This unit has been serviced and tested for basic operation.

Please carefully check all photos for the exact cosmetic condition before purchasing.

The following functions have been tested:

The automatic shut-off at the end of the tape does NOT function properly.

When playback reaches the end of the cassette, the unit may not stop automatically.

Please stop the unit manually when the tape reaches the end.

The DC power jack has not been tested because the appropriate testing equipment was not available.

Pre-owned / Used.

There are scratches, scuffs, marks, and other signs of age and previous use.

Please note that some small scratches or imperfections may not be clearly visible in the photos.

As this is a vintage cassette player that is several decades old, its performance should not be expected to match that of a new unit.

Mechanical operating noise may be noticeable.

Analog cassette playback may also include some wow, flutter, or background noise depending on the tape being used.

This item is a vintage precision electronic device.

Although it has been serviced and is currently capable of cassette playback, fast forward, and rewind, long-term operation cannot be guaranteed.

Due to the age of the unit, additional issues may develop after purchase.

Older, extra-long, low-quality, or mechanically resistant cassette tapes may not operate properly.
