About the Maker:

These pieces bear the authentic underglaze blue square seal mark for Tenpō Kiln (天宝窯) on the base. Tenpō Kiln is a well-known producer of traditional Mino ware (Mino-yaki) porcelain from Japan, celebrated for creating high-quality, durable tableware utilizing beautiful traditional indigo and gray glaze transfer techniques.
