Connect a compatible Nintendo Wii or Wii U console to a modern HDTV, monitor or projector. This compact adapter converts the console’s AV Multi Out signal to HDMI with no drivers or separate power supply required.
Compatibility: Wii RVL-001/RVL-101 and Wii U WUP-101. Wii U already includes a native HDMI port, but this adapter provides an alternative connection through its AV Multi Out port. Not compatible with Wii Mini RVL-201.
Cables Required: An HDMI cable is required and is not included. A separate 3.5mm audio cable is not normally needed because audio travels through HDMI. Use the optional audio jack only for headphones, external speakers or displays without built-in audio. A 3.5mm cable is also not included.
Please Note: Upscaling changes the output resolution but cannot add detail beyond the console’s original graphics.
